BINYAN Founder & CEO and Cause & Effect Curator, Andrei Dolnikov is a trained architect (and Rabbi).
Andrei Dolnikov is a leading figure in the field of Architectural Digital Content Creation. Holding degrees in Interior Architecture, Design, Applied Psychology as well as being an ordained Rabbi, he has championed the growing field of visioning the future for over 15 years.
Having founded BINYAN in his living room in 2007, he has led the company to be synonymous with the world’s most high profile projects. Creating integrated creative content ranging from content strategy, film & animation, renders & CGIs, Digital Experiences and Interactive Applications. Working from studios in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, London and Dubai, the team of 100+ artists, producers, creatives, animators, film makers, software developers and experience designers has won over 30 awards for their work, including the 2022 World Luxury Award.

In 2022, Andrei became President of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators and staged the landmark “Cause & Effect” event in London. The first ever gathering of the global village of visualisers, architects, developers, marketers, creatives, place makers and artists who collaborate to depict our cities’ future. This event inspired a conversation about how the use of creativity, narrative & technology can democratise the visioning of our cities’ future (effect) and thereby improve the decisions that shape the tangible future outcomes (cause). The event ushered in a new era of collaboration and dialogue that has opened up new creative possibilities for BINYAN, their clients and the industry as a whole.
Andrei is passionate about educating the next generation of architects and designers and has lectured at various universities including Sydney University and University of Melbourne; a sought after speaker and subject matter expert, having presented at events in London, Sydney, Melbourne, Vienna, Venice, Singapore, Las Vegas, Kiev & Lviv. He lives in Melbourne, Australia with his amazing wife, 4 beautiful children and beloved tenor saxophone.
